Education
I am a third-year education student at CQ University currently completing a Bachelor of Education degree (Primary).
Experience
I have completed my 8th grade piano exam as well as 3rd-grade music theory, while currently studying 4th-grade music theory. I have 5 years of experience teaching music, mainly the piano but also the clarinet, flute, saxophone, and singing. In addition to this, I am also a piano accompanist and am part of the Accompanist's Guild of Queensland. I am keen on taking on piano or other instrumental students from the age of 3 right up to the high school level. The length of my lessons is half an hour and I welcome all students, whether at the beginner or intermediate level. In addition to all of this, my private tutoring sessions give students the opportunity to benefit from individualized one-on-one attention, prompt action to address any issues or problem areas, and regular feedback on their learning and progress.
